About Me

About me

I received my Doctorate in Forensic Psychology, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice administration and management from Alliant International University, formerly California School of Professional Psychology, Fresno.   While an undergraduate at the University of Redlands, I did an internship at Patton State Hospital.  This is where my passion for forensics and helping others started.

I have a varied forensic background spanning 20 years.  I have clinical forensic experience working in the California Department of Corrections, with both male and female populations. I also worked as psychologist in a hospital setting where I primarily provided risk assessment and crisis management to the Emergency Room, as well as providing support services to the medical floors.  I also have rural community mental health experience, where I was an on-call crisis clinician.  I have also done training and development for corrections staff, Law enforcement, first responders and medical staff on understanding and working with a behavioral health population.

My passion has always been to help others, not only through my career, but generally in life.  I love empowering others around me.   I utilize a holistic approach with my clients, examining biological, sociological and individual influences on behavior.  I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral therapy, with a strong focus on mindfulness, and understanding the power of thought, and manifestation.   What you think about you bring about!

My hobbies include spending time with family, including fur babies, working in my yard, being involved in 4H, as well as working in my art studio where I can express my creative self!!  I am also a huge outdoor enthusiast, where I enjoy hiking, rock hounding, and camping.
